Smiths IONSCAN 500DT Operator Training
The Smiths IONSCAN 500DT Operator Training Course teaches students proper and effective use of the IONSCAN 500DT Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) system. This interactive, self-paced course teaches students how the IONSCAN 500DT system works to identify traces of explosives and narcotics at security checkpoints. Students will learn the core parts of the IONSCAN 500DT system. In addition, students will learn the correct technique for taking samples, how to analyze samples, and how to clear contamination from the system and screening area.
