Smiths IONSCAN 600 Operator Training
The Smiths IONSCAN 600 Operator Training Course teaches students proper and effective use of the IONSCAN 600 Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) system. This interactive, self-paced course teaches students how the IONSCAN 600 system works to identify traces of explosives and narcotics. The course will teach about the IONSCAN 600 system’s core parts. In addition, students will learn the correct technique for taking samples, how to analyze samples, and the proper procedures for clearing contamination from the system and screening area.
